Beim 3.Internationalen Sparkling Festival trafen sich am 3. Juni 2019 in der Frankfurter Villa Kennedy 67 ausgewählte Schaumweinproduzenten aus 9 Nationen. 

Schaumwein Fachsymposium

Das am Morgen stattgefundene Fachsymposium war vollkommen ausgebucht. Die 80 Fachbesucher zeigten großes Interesse an dem Vortag: „Die Schaumweinproduktion im Spannungsfeld des Klimawandels“ von Dr. Matthias M. Schmitt von der Universität Geisenheim.

Im Anschluss stellten Vertreter der traditionellen klassischen Flaschenvergärer, des Vins & Crémants Luxembourg/ Institut Viti-Vinicole , des Österreichisches Sektkomitees, des Verbandes Cap Classique Südafrika und die Vereinigung Südtiroler Sekterzeuger ihre Region und Maßnahmen zu Qualitätssicherung und Klimawandel vor. Die anschließende rege Diskussion mit den Referenten und dem Publikum zeigte das große Interesse am Thema.

Internationales Sparkling Festival

Hier konnten Fachhändler, Gastronomen, Sommeliers, Journalisten und am späten Nachmittag auch Endverbraucher 170 traditionell hergestellte Schaumweine genießen. Der Anteil der Fachbesucher lag bei 80 Prozent.

Mit 23 Austellern war Deutschland als größte Gruppe vertreten, dann folgten die Champagne,  Italien, Spanien, Österreich, Crémant Frankreich, die luxemburgische Winzer und jeweils Austeller aus England, Slowenien und Südafrika. Die Winzer können an dem Festival nur auf Einladung teilnehmen.

Über 350 Besucher waren begeistert von der riesigen Vielfalt der Schaumweine, die ausschließlich nach der „méthode traditionelle“ hergestellt werden. 

UNIQUE IN EUROPE!

At the 3rd International Sparkling Festival, 67 selected sparkling wine producers from 9 nations met at Frankfurt's Villa Kennedy on 3 June 2019.

The symposium held in the morning was completely booked out. The 80 trade visitors showed great interest in the lecture: "Sparkling wine production in the field of tension of climate change" by Dr. Matthias M. Schmitt from the University of Geisenheim.

Afterwards, representatives of the traditional classical bottle fermenters, Vins & Crémants Luxembourg/ Institut Viti-Vinicole , the Austrian Sparkling Wine Committee, the Association Cap Classique South Africa and the Association of South Tyrolean Sparkling Wine Producers presented their region and measures on quality assurance and climate change. The subsequent lively discussion with the speakers and the audience showed the great interest in the topic.

International Sparkling Festival from 13.00h

Here, specialist retailers, restaurateurs, sommeliers, journalists and, in the late afternoon, end consumers were able to enjoy 170 traditionally produced sparkling wines. The share of trade visitors was 80 percent.

With 23 exhibitors, Germany was the largest group represented, followed by Champagne, Italy, Spain, Austria, Crémant France, Luxembourg vintners and exhibitors each from England, Slovenia and South Africa. The vintners can only participate in the festival by invitation.

More than 350 visitors were thrilled by the huge variety of sparkling wines, which are produced exclusively according to the "méthode traditionelle".
